Irene Kellins, owner of Stitches with a Twist, a yarn and sewing shop in the village of Blyth, has been knitting and teaching knitting for many years. She has a passion for knitted lace that began with her first look at a picture of a Shetland Wedding Ring Shawl. The idea that the entire shawl could fit through a ring ignited a curiosity that continues to this day. Irene has a long history of knitting, as well as other needle-arts and has achieved level one Knitting Accreditation through the Canadian Guild of Knitters. She enjoys introducing anyone who is interested to the magic of knitting, especially Lace Knitting.
